About

iTechAge

iTechAge is the mission control for the Technion Healthy Aging Institute, serving to conceptualize, centralize, and oversee its scientific affairs, operations, and communications.

iTechAge main goal is to guide and optimize research at the Institute to maximize its impact on the challenges of aging. iTechAge will foster continuous dialogue between cutting-edge research at the Technion and the needs of communities, healthcare systems, and governmental organizations at local, national, and global levels. It will also develop and maintain the resources, data, and infrastructure needed to accelerate research and translate outcomes into real-world solutions.

To advance aging research, iTechAge will support strategic faculty recruitment by securing startup funds for new hires aligned with key areas of aging research. Several steering committees will ensure optimal functioning of the Technion Healthy Aging Institute, including scientific, clinical, and data and analytics committees.

Serving as the mission control of the Institute, iTechAge will centralize scientific oversight, operations, administration, public outreach, project management, and education, including a graduate program in aging. Oversight will be guided by an international scientific advisory board.
